Alessandro Enriquez deepens his commitment to design, bringing his aesthetic and narrative vision into the heart of Sicily by signing Braccialieri — a new Boutique Resort set in the evocative countryside of the Val di Noto. A project that reflects his profound love for the Mediterranean through a language of colour, tradition and authorial design, transforming Sicily into an unexpected, ironic and irreverent destination.

“When I first set foot in this place, I was welcomed by the strength of a family who wanted to transform an ancient olive oil mill into something magical — not a simple farmhouse, but an unforgettable destination. A group of people who dared to dream big. I immediately felt that magic that was yet to come, and it was with that spirit that I worked for two years, right through to the final touches. I wanted to build a new image of Sicily — the one not everyone knows, the image that lives in my head. A place ready to become iconic,” says Alessandro Enriquez.

“I was lucky enough, for this my first project, to collaborate with figures who have always represented a point of reference for me in Italian design — first among them Giulio Cappellini, with whom there was a genuinely constructive exchange. With Paola Jannelli we worked together selecting wallpapers from my collection in harmony with the spaces. I also wanted to involve local artisans, because it is thanks to them that this beautiful place carries the flavour of authenticity — from Sicilian wicker weavers to master glassmakers. This is my first interior project, and I wanted to pay homage to Italy through my own vision,” the designer continues.

“This project bears my signature — but also love’s. I wanted to infuse every single detail with love, dedicating myself with a careful — almost obsessive — attention to every element, searching for each individual object and nurturing every single space with the desire to leave behind not just a signature, but above all a memory.
