During Milan Design Week 2024, designer Alessandro Enriquez presents, in collaboration with Bassetti, a new collection dedicated to the home and interior design, hosted within the Bassetti Home Innovation concept store at Corso Venezia 6, Milan. Alessandro’s vitamin-bright Mediterranean-inspired colours and iconic graphics make their way from fashion into interior design, with a range of 100% Made in Italy products conceived for the bedroom, living room, table and kitchen. The collection is completed by beachwear accessories, a vibrant selection of candles, lacquered metal furniture in bold and vivid hues developed in collaboration with Milan-based design company Situér, and a series of plates crafted with the master ceramicists of Caltagirone — for an ironic and eclectic art of table setting.

The designer’s creativity and his contemporary Italian style find a perfect match in the cheerfulness and originality of Bassetti, a brand long distinguished by its pursuit of imaginative, colourful solutions suited to a consumer who lives their home freely and vibrantly. The new Alessandro Enriquez Loves Bassetti collection brings together Alessandro’s most iconic fashion prints, recognised for their intense and vivid tones, unexpected combinations and strong aesthetic impact — telling the story of Italy and its most recognisable tricolour clichés in an ironic and irreverent way.

Prints featuring hearts and double hearts paired with the claim “amore amore amore”express a theme very close to the designer’s heart: love in all its facets. Floral motifs reinterpreted in a pop key — geraniums and chamomile blossoms — stand as symbols of a pure and sincere love for the world and for life. Ladybirds add a lucky charm touch and radiate positive energy. The passion for food and Italian cuisine comes through in designs inspired by the table, dressing it with an unmistakable hint of irony.

Beyond its strong visual impact, the Alessandro Enriquez Loves Bassetti collection places equal emphasis on material and print quality, offering products to be combined according to personal taste for an explosive mix and match of patterns and colours. Soft percale and cotton twill fabrics are printed using modern digital techniques, with solid colours that retain their brilliance over time, even after repeated washing.
