Alessandro Enriquez unveils the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, a celebration of the bond and enduring love between the enchanting French Riviera and the Italian coastline. Through his latest summer proposal, the designer pays tribute to the very essence of the Mediterranean, weaving together cultures, landscapes and traditions that have long shared a common spirit.

A journey between two countries, the collection captures the beauty of heritage and the energy of contemporary life, conveying a powerful message of connection, exchange and togetherness. United by the sea, France and Italy become the protagonists of a vibrant narrative where elegance, colour and joie de vivre meet under the Mediterranean sun.

French and Italian newspaper clippings, graphically reinterpreted by Alessandro, intertwine with illustrations of enchanting coastlines rendered in soft, watercolour-inspired hues. Alongside them, all-over jasmine blossoms and red apples — timeless symbols of love and devotion — enrich the collection’s visual narrative. These new motifs find perfect harmony through the use of luxurious fabrics, including silk, crisp cotton poplin, linen, crêpe de chine and lustrous duchesse satin, encapsulating the essence of the Spring/Summer 2025 proposal.

The new wardrobe features pleated dresses that gently define the waist before flowing effortlessly to the floor, alongside hyper-feminine lace mini dresses. Equally central to the collection are the maxi kaftans, offered in both printed and solid-colour versions, as well as the brand’s iconic full pleated skirts, a signature staple of the Enriquez universe. Completing the seasonal offering are gingham and striped looks that evoke the nostalgic charm of Mediterranean summers, further enhancing the versatile and refined spirit of the collection.

To reinforce the French inspiration behind the season, Alessandro collaborates with the Côte d’Azur destination brand of the French National Tourism Committee, dedicating his illustrations to some of the Riviera’s most iconic locations. These magical landscapes, which have made the French Riviera famous around the world, come to life through motifs of lemons, graphic stripes and the slogan “Côte d’Azur, Côte d’Amur”, blending seamlessly into the collection and celebrating the beauty and romance of one of the world’s most beloved destinations.

“I have always loved the towns of the French Riviera, from Cannes to Nice and Saint-Tropez. There are colours and atmospheres that remind me of Sicily. Bringing together two languages, two cultures and two countries through drawings and love has been a truly wonderful experience for me. Together with the Côte d’Azur brand, we are presenting this beautiful initiative in both Italy and France. During Paris Fashion Week, the collection will be showcased at La Samaritaine, celebrating love in its purest form, without limits or borders,” says Alessandro Enriquez.

Complementing the collection are sunglasses by Spektre and Fashion Hats — handwoven straw hats crafted in Italy by Patrizia Fabri Hats — a tribute to Made in Italy craftsmanship, the defining ingredient of Alessandro’s collections and a constant source of inspiration throughout his creative journey.

French bistros meet Italian trattorias in Enriquez’s vision, while Parole, Parole, Parole — immortalised by Mina in Italy and by Dalida in France — becomes the inspiration behind a collection that celebrates a unique love story: the enduring bond between Italy and France. Through this narrative, Enriquez pays tribute to places rich in colour, fragrance and timeless memories, evoking the romantic spirit of the 1950s and 1960s.

It is a journey through love stories and endless kisses, recalling the iconic photograph by Robert Doisneau, a timeless image that perfectly captures the essence of romance. The collection unfolds as a visual tale where nostalgia and modernity coexist, transforming memories into wearable expressions of Mediterranean elegance.

Guiding the narrative are the luminous shades of a Mediterranean summer, woven together like threads in a vibrant canvas. The bright yellows of Amalfi Coast lemons alternate with the delicate hues of mimosa blossoms from Bormes-les-Mimosas, while pinks, reds, blues and oranges evoke the magic of sunrise and sunset. Soft pastel tones, beloved by generations of painters drawn to these landscapes, complete the palette, reflecting the region’s gentle climate and the shimmering light dancing across the sea. Together, these colours create a dreamlike atmosphere that celebrates the beauty, warmth and poetry of life on both shores of the Mediterranean.
