The fashion film tells the story of Sicily through a new, nostalgic and unexpected lens, in which the sweetest of feelings — understood as something pure — takes shape, transforms and carries along its protagonist through dance.

The colours of dawns and sunsets are those of Palma di Montechiaro in Sicily, birthplace of Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, the writer whose novel La Sirena inspired the designer in the creation of his collection. Alessandro Enriquez’s dancing mermaid is a sea creature who abandons the ocean upon falling in love with the love between two dancers, sublimating that feeling in its entirety: through dance their connection is born, and a all-consuming complicity comes to life, drawing them into a feeling that is innocent and intense, pure and untouched by any outside world.

The fashion film runs for three minutes and was produced with a cast of dancers from the Teatro Massimo di Palermo, choreographed by Gaetano La Mantia. The original soundtrack is the song Occhi Scuri, written and performed by Lidia Schillaci. Coordination and editing were entrusted to the Visualizer team, under the creative direction of Amedeo Piccione.
