Il Gioco della Moda (The Game of Fashion)

An Ode to Lightness

The game of fashion emerges as the defining theme of the Autumn/Winter 2026/27 season: fashion becomes joyful, free-spirited and profoundly human, capable of surprising without ever compromising elegance. Within this universe, Alessandro Enriquez and Rossella Jardini renew their collaboration, further strengthening a creative dialogue that, since its Spring/Summer 2026 debut, has reimagined the codes of Italian elegance through a contemporary, ironic and memory-infused lens.

“We irreverently brought fashion into a lighter, deliberately playful dimension. We turned fashion into a game, seriousness into awareness, and elegance into the key ingredient of a very special match. In Rossella, I found the perfect playmate,” says Alessandro Enriquez.

The spirit of play runs throughout the collection: colours, proportions, silhouettes and rules are referenced, reinterpreted and transformed into instruments of creative freedom. Irony becomes sophisticated, never superficial—turning seriousness into awareness and restoring elegance to a free, inclusive and vibrant dimension.

The wardrobe unfolds through harmonious contrasts: printed silk shirt dresses are paired with black-and-white striped faux-fur coats, while Nineties-inspired denim is elevated with domed jewel buttons in a polished gold finish. Padded, quilted nylon moves beyond the classic overshirt, introducing maxi coats and A-line skirts.

Skirts take on multiple identities—from the signature pleated style in different lengths to pencil skirts, open or closed, with or without statement patch pockets. Double topstitching defines their silhouettes, alongside new red resin heart embellishments.

Knitwear plays with grosgrain ribbons, metallic details and tiny lucky charms, while colourful resin spheres adorn dresses as integrated necklaces or become standalone jewellery pieces, styled with scarves, heeled shoes and polka-dot ballet flats. The result is a series of harmonious looks balancing solid colours and prints, transforming the wardrobe into a narrative universe.

Each print tells its own distinctive story: playing cards are reimagined with the designers as their protagonists, alongside Cavalier King Charles spaniels and hens—emblems of their two creative worlds. The “Lovepard” motif transforms hearts into leopard spots, while tartan is adorned with declarations of love and an all-over pattern of dressed-up dogs.

These affectionate, ironic motifs carry the narrative beyond the clothes, evoking a vision of fashion that is convivial and deeply rooted in culture. In 2026, elegance is no longer about distance, but presence: an instinctive understanding of colour, freedom of expression through print, and the ability not to take oneself too seriously—without ever compromising on style.

The renewed collaboration thus becomes a declaration of intent: a celebration of a modernity defined by knowing how to play—with grace, with culture and with a smile.
