AZZURRO is born<\/strong>: the collaboration between Alessandro Enriquez and Cappellini, presented during Milan Fashion Week<\/strong> and inspired by the new Spring Summer 2027 collection \u201cOlimpo d\u2019Amore.\u201d
\nAlessandro Enriquez reinterprets Cappellini<\/strong>\u2019s iconic Bac chair, selected together with Giulio Cappellini, dressing it in a distinctive shade of blue inspired by Greece and loulaki, the
\ntraditional pigment powder in ultramarine tones that has been part of the Greek islands\u2019 colour palette for centuries.
\nIt is the colour of the doors and windows that punctuate the white fa\u00e7ades of Greek houses, of the sky meeting the sea, of that Mediterranean light that, in an ideal sense, connects Greece and Sicily. The same shade of blue runs through \u201cOlimpo d\u2019Amore\u201d and, from the collection, enters the world of design, transforming Bac into an element of the same narrative.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”3638″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css_animation=”fadeInRight” css=””][vc_single_image image=”3639″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css_animation=”fadeInRight” css=””][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”descCollezione”]AZZURRO is thus born from the encounter between two different yet complementary Italian languages. Cappellini\u2019s design rigour, research and design culture meet Alessandro
\nEnriquez\u2019s pop, ironic and Mediterranean universe.
\n\u201cTogether with Giulio, we chose Bac because I wanted to start from a shape that was already strong and recognisable, intervening without altering its identity. I simply dressed it in the colour that, more than any other, tells the story of my journey through Greece. A shade of blue that contains the sea, the sky, the houses and that Mediterranean light which, for me, connects Greece to my Sicily. AZZURRO is precisely this: a colour that becomes a place, a memory and an encounter,\u201d says Alessandro Enriquez.
\nWith AZZURRO, fashion and design become part of a single landscape. The chair is no longer simply an object, but a presence within Enriquez\u2019s \u201cOlimpo d\u2019Amore\u201d, a
\ncontemporary statement capable of bringing a fragment of the Mediterranean into the domestic space.
\nThe special interpretation of the Bac chair by Alessandro Enriquez x Cappellini will be presented in Milan on the same day as the debut of the Spring Summer 2027 collection
